Q1) Do you run Face to Face courses?
A1) Yes, we have been running F2F courses for over 15 years. We typically run a course at your facility on a date / time to suit. Typically we would need a min of 10 trainees to make a F2F course viable. It does take some time to find a suitable date/ time, so we recommend booking approx 1 month in advance if you can.
Q2) Do you run online courses, and how do these work?
A2) Yes, we have been running online courses for about 7-8 years now, and have put over 2,000 trainees through our online course. There are a number of ways we can do an online course:
Option 1) we can book a date / time and send out TEAMS invitations to all your trainees. We all log in together and work through the content together via TEAMS. Each trainee logs into their own computer. We call this: online group training.
Option 2) we can set each trainee up in our 'self paced' online system. Trainees will receive an email with login details for the system and instructions on how to complete the course. We also provide contact numbers / details for our trainers who can be contacted M-F during business hours to help facilitate trainees through the course. We call this: online self paced training.
Q3) What does the online self paced training involve?
A3) The course involves logging into the training platform and working your way through various 'lessons' or 'learning modules'. These involve reading some content, watching videos and answering some multiple choice questions. You can start and stop the course whenever you want and it will save your progress. You can also re-try the multiple choice questions if you get them wrong.
Q4) How difficult is the course? Can anyone do it? What if I am not very technically savvy?
A4) The course is very intuitive and simple to navigate through. Basically, if you can search for something on google, and you have an email address, you will be able to complete the course.
Q5) Is there someone that will help me through the course?
A5) yes, for all courses, our facilitators are available to help you through the course via TEAMS / phone / text as needed. If you sign up for the course, we will help you complete it.
Q6) I have an old physical card. Is this still valid?
A6) The physical cards have been replaced with digital cards (administered by MTA, same as the RIW card system) as of May 2024. All cards in existence at that date are valid and remain valid for 5 years (until May 2029). You will need to re-complete your training prior to May 2029.
Q7) How soon after I complete the course will I get my digital card?
A7) Once your course is complete and paid for, the digital cards are sent out to your email address every Friday for course completed by COB Wednesday prior.
Q8) How will I receive my digital card?
A8) Your digital card will be sent to your email address (please check your junk mail box as the email will often get moved there). It will be sent from:
